Manage your studio staff and permissions

Your team members are the heart of your studio. Vygor helps you manage your staff, their roles, and their skills efficiently.

Staff Roles

Vygor uses roles to control what each team member can see and do in the dashboard.

  • Owner: Full access to all features, including financial data, billing, and team management. Owners can also approve substitution requests.
  • Staff: Access to the schedule, class management, and customer profiles. Staff members can request substitutions and pick up open classes.
  • Pending: Displays when a staff member has been invited but has not yet accepted their email invitation.

Inviting Team Members

To add a new staff member to Vygor:

  1. Navigate to Team > Members.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter their email address and select their role.
  4. The new team member will receive an email invitation to create their account and join your studio.

Class Tags

Class Tags are a powerful way to manage your team's skills and automate substitution eligibility.

What are Class Tags?

Tags can represent specific skills or certifications (e.g., "Yoga RYT-200", "Zumba Certified", "Personal Trainer"). You can assign these tags to both Class Templates and Staff Profiles.

How Tags Work

  • Automatic Matching: When a teacher requests a substitute, Vygor checks the tags assigned to that class template and matches them with qualified staff.
  • Generalist Eligibility: If a staff member has no tags assigned to their profile, they act as an all-access substitute and remain eligible for all classes (tagged or untagged). Staff are only restricted if they have tags, but none match the class's tags.
  • Untagged Classes: If a class template has no tags, all active staff members are eligible to cover it.
