Get your Stripe account details and prepare a card reader for your studio.
Vygor uses Stripe for card payments.
Your Stripe account
When you send your studio and owner information through Discord, we create your Vygor account and automatically create your Stripe account at the same time. We'll send you your Stripe account details as part of setup.
Before taking payments
Confirm with Vygor that the studio's Stripe connection is ready before taking payments. If you also use a card reader, it must be registered and linked to the studio before it appears in Point of Sale.
Choose a card reader
Confirm the reader model and studio location with Vygor before ordering. The BBPOS WisePOS E supports an internet-connected checkout. For an S700 or S710, confirm the model with Vygor and follow Stripe's registration instructions linked below.
Use the Stripe Terminal shop for current availability and pricing.
Connect and register the reader
- Turn on the reader using the instructions for your model.
- For a WisePOS E, swipe from the left edge, open Settings, and enter the admin passcode. Stripe's documented default is
07139if it has not been changed. - Connect to your studio network in the reader's settings and allow required updates to finish.
- Open Generate pairing code and provide the code to Vygor with your studio location and a recognizable reader name.
- Wait for Vygor to confirm that the reader is linked to your studio.

Check the reader in Vygor
- Open Point of Sale and prepare a checkout with an amount due.
- Select Continue, then Terminal.
- Confirm your reader appears under Select Terminal.
- Coordinate a payment test with Vygor before making a live charge.
After a payment test, confirm that checkout shows a successful payment. The reader appearing in the list only confirms that you can select it.
If the reader is missing or a payment stalls
Check power and network connection, confirm Vygor has registered the correct reader, and share the displayed error with the team. Check Transactions before retrying a payment whose result is unclear.
